The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the formal release, "An unusual confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The storyline features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden sect.

The mission focuses on "peculiar trials and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Changes

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an unique katana together with numerous objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
